Tropicana Rental Program

Rent Directly Through the Association

Tropicana offers an Association-managed rental program that allows prospective residents to rent directly through the Association rather than having to locate and rent from an individual unit owner.

Association-Managed Rentals

A simpler way to rent at Tropicana

Through the Tropicana rental program, qualifying applicants can work directly with the Association office for available rental opportunities, application requirements, screening, and move-in information.

Availability and rental rates vary, so prospective residents should contact the Association office for the most current information.

How It Works

Rental Program Process

Exact requirements may vary based on the rental term and current Association policies.

Step 1

Contact the Office

Ask about current availability, rental rates, lease terms, and the documents needed to apply.

Step 2

Application & Screening

Complete the Association's required application and background-screening process before occupancy.

Step 3

Move-In Coordination

Once approved, the Association office will provide the applicable rental agreement, payment information, and move-in instructions.

Longer-Term Living

Designed primarily for six-month-plus stays

Tropicana primarily focuses on residential and longer-term occupancy, including rental periods of six months or longer.

Shorter rental periods may also be permitted, but additional registration, screening, and tax requirements may apply.

Private owner rentals: Individual owners may also rent their units subject to the Association's current rental, registration, screening, and occupancy requirements. The Association-managed rental program provides an additional option for prospective residents who prefer to rent directly through the Association.
Florida transient-rental tax: Florida Statute § 212.03 addresses taxation of transient rentals, including condominium accommodations, and treats certain bona fide written agreements for continuous residence longer than six months differently under the statute. View Fla. Stat. § 212.03.
